As the original Talon, it offers the tested and unique TruTrak, allowing the DSP processor to monitor the patrol speedometer and direct the search for patrol speed around this known speed. What makes the Talon II unique is the SMART Patrol Search feature which increases speed reading accuracy by eliminating patrol speed combining and shadowing. Additionally there is a new menu feature: stationary mode, track-after-lock, allowing for continued tracking of a target after the trigger is released and locking the speed for an additional 5 second tracking history.
