Designed for officers who work exclusively with their portable radio, both on and off the motor and have no need for a headset link to a mobile motorcycle-mounted radio. The System allows operation of the portable radio as a standard “handheld” with both transmit and receive capability through the system’s shouldermic. Connect your helmet and radio communications automatically re-direct into the helmet. This also causes the wireless system to automatically power on and link. While away from the motor, Push-To-Talk (PTT) is available at either the radio adapter or at the shouldermic. When near the motorcycle, portable radio PTT is also available (wirelessly) at the handlebar. By pressing a second handlebar PTT button, the motorcycle siren will be activated as a Public Address (PA) System, allowing the officer the ability to broadcast directly from his helmet microphone without removing hands from the handlebars. All this without the hassle of a tethered cable to the motor!
