Marion County Sheriff's Office (Recognition)

Sgt. Joe VanWeelden and Deputy Roy Johnson from the Marion County Sheriff's Office, North Multi-Regional District Office, were recognized by LEL Thomas G. Banks, Law Enforcement Liaison for the Central Region, for saving two individuals whose vehicle was lodged on a railroad tracks moments before a train passed by in Marion County. Lt. Michelle Wissinger was presented with a new Ctation Holder and LED Multi-Purpose Flashlight to be presented to the two deputies at a later date. Please note the picture below:
