As Director of the Florida Law Enforcement Liaison Program, it is my responsibility for the day-to-day operation of one of the nation's largest Law Enforcement Liaison programs. My staff consists of six Law Enforcement Liaisons throughout Florida who have over 100 years of combined law enforcement experience in city, county, and state agencies. I am privileged to work every day in a capacity that provides the best possible support for Florida's law enforcement officers in their quest to reduce crashes and gain compliance with Florida's traffic laws. We have seen a lot of success in the Click It or Ticket Florida campaign and the DUI “Over the Limit Under Arrest” initiative, but there still is a long way to go. The Florida Law Enforcement Challenge and the Florida Motor Unit Challenge are two great programs that reward the agencies for making a positive difference in their communities in regards to traffic enforcement. Through friendly competition and hard work, serious injury and fatal crashes have decreased while compliance with Florida's laws has increased, and this means lives have been saved!
